I do not make copies of other cakes, I can make similar, but not exactly the same.
 

Ordering

Cake order should be placed minimum 2 weeks in advance, custom decorated cakes at least 4 weeks prior the event. All are paid in advance in full online when order is placed. 

Wedding or special custom cakes order should be placed at least 4 months in advance. All are paid the full deposit is 50% of your final quote and will be due the date when order is being placed. Final balance is due 1 month prior to your wedding date.

Delivery

I will deliver your order for free within 5 miles from 5 Elliott Pl, West Orange NJ 07052,  after that you will be held responsible for an additional delivery charge, please check the delivery page.

No delivery or pick up on Sundays.

I can not ship my cakes.

Refund/Exchange Policy

I take pride in my desserts and cakes. If you are unhappy with your order, immediately notify me please (within 24 hours of pick-up) of your concern and return your dessert to me. I will give you credit for the amount returned for use toward a future purchase or issue a refund.

Order Cancellation Policy

I understand that plans change and I will gladly assist you in making changes to your order date and time whenever possible. I accept weekday cancellations by phone or email (alla@truffalla.com) prior to 4:00 pm, 3 business days before your event. All changes must be confirmed. I reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee if insufficient time is given, as stated above, due to costs incurred in the purchase, priority and preparation of the order. Charges for cancellations after the above time will be as follows: 30% of the entire order will be charged for cancellations 48 hours prior to the event and 100% of the entire order will be charged for canceling the order after that time. Orders that  cannot be delivered due to customer’s wrong information or availability will be taken back to and stored until further notice from customer. Because of the nature of my business and my quality and freshness assurance, I will dispose of any cake that is not delivered within 48 hours after the due time and you will NOT be refunded due to the above rules.

Wedding/Special Custom Cake Cancellation Policy

Custom/wedding cake deposits are non-refundable & non-transferable (Deposit is deducted from the wedding cake balance only).

Any custom cake orders cancelled 2 weeks prior to your event date will receive only a 75% refund on any payments made after the deposit. Any custom cake orders cancelled less than 1 week prior to your event date will receive a  no refunds on any payments made after the deposit.

Change Order

There will be a $25 Change Order fee for any changes that are requested within 24 hours of the time required.

Payment

The date of the event is considered “booked” upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit equaling 50% of the total value of the cake, delivery charges, equipment deposit and signed contract.

The final payment is due 30 days prior to the event.

If the cake is booked 30 days or less before the reception, the deposit will equal 100% of the total cost,

If the Client fails to make payments,  work will be ceased, the order will be canceled and no refund will be given.

Preferred methods of payment are Square.

The Client will have a grace period of 3 days after the payment date to pay debt before the contract is canceled.

Late payments will be charged a $75 fee.

Returned checks and surcharges will be charged a $50 fee.

Decorations and Coloring

I’ll do my best to match any requested color or design. I am limited to the fact that I’m dealing with icing that can fade do to light and temperature so I do not guarantee an exact match.
